How to tell the difference

Corporations build things for consumers. Houses, for example. If I am going to build a house, I want to know who is going to live there. How else do I know what to build?
Corporations build to a plan. Then they spend a lot of money trying to convince you that you like the plan. They are hoping that you will buy the house and consume it, throwing it away in a few years when it no longer fits your life.

If I was to build a house for a young couple, I would leave room for growth. They may not have much money, but it's their home. They have to be comfortable. The counter tops need to be at the right place for them. So do the rooms, doors, windows, etc...

Now, go check out the architecture of the former Soviet Union.
So, we can rather intuitively put the corporation somewhere to the left of me, but to the right of the Soviet Union.
Socialism, perhaps?
The next time some corporation does something nasty, don't blame capitalism.
