God of the Living

My God is a God of the living, not of the dead. He said, "Be fruitful and multiply. He ordered that the high priest of Israel not attend any funerals, and insisted that the Levites attend none but the most immediate of family. The dead were unclean. The purpose was to impress upon them attention to this life.

I don't see enough children. I think we often overestimate the more "glorious" callings because the life of father and mother, husband and wife are mundane, seemingly boring to the young idealist. All of us understand the evil of murder, but what shall we say about those who could have been brought into life, but were not, because we were too busy with other things?

I too, have failed in this way.
