Bread for Peace

Lately I'm making bread. I'm trying for that perfect baguette, which isn't particularly easy to do in a residential oven. Things are coming along well, though. I've enjoyed every one I've made. I continue to experiment.

Oddly, the Nobel people didn't call today. I suppose they just don't appreciate a good crust as much a they do a big lie.

Anyway, as the political season putters along, I've noticed that I'm slowly dropping the political blogs and picking up more food related blogs. Somehow the vacuum sealed eggplant seems far more fascinating. And safer, apparently. Some poor guy named Paul Jacobs has been indicted for a felony. His crime? A petition to put a tax payer's bill of rights on the ballot in Oklahoma.

I do believe I need to buy more flour.
