Russ Roberts talks to Dan Klein about coordination.
If you listen to this podcast, you might just get an idea about why I bang on about the particular things I bang on about. I like the sort of human interaction that actually works instead of The People's Romance, the idea that the highest human activity is a government project of some kind that "we" work on together.
Also, Roberts and Klein point out how hard it is to actually talk about this stuff. Our vocabulary is best suited to family and other small groupings, and it's just inaccurate to apply that vocabulary to a larger group.
