The only logical reason Hilary would have to outright lie about her visit to the Balkans, the relevant parts of which she knew were recorded, was that she assumed that the news organizations wouldn't bother to contradict her. I think many who work in the media have become supporters of Obama. So, in an interesting twist of fate, Hilary will now be treated like the media treats republicans, at least until the nomination.
Now, post nomination, things will be interesting. The media likes McCain, but generally only when he's running against or critizing other republicans. What would an embittered clan of Obamamanians who run major newsrooms do in the general election?
