Which One Has More Life?

There is a correct answer, and it's not some new age mysticism. This may not be the best pair of pictures to compare, and I wanted to get them side by side, but I decided to put them out like this anyway. We humans will consistently pick one of these buildings over the other when we think about life.
I may put up more like this- the concept comes from Christopher Alexander, I believe in the first book of Nature of Order.
