Read this as democrats exploring the options. Party strategists want to dump him in an extremely bad way.
The gap between what's on the mainstream media and what's on the internet is amazing. Joe Biden is the anti-story, except that Obama's V.P. choice sure proves he isn't about change. Biden is probably one of the few myopic souls who would associate with Obama at this point. I can imagine everyone else on the short list saying no, not wanting to damage future electability.
Sure puts the lie to the 'change' message. Hasn't Biden been in office since before I was born?
