Zombie Socialists

So, if you really don't want me to use the word socialist to describe people who do the same things as socialists do, we need to come up with a word or phrase that would accurately define what the political class is doing. It seems to me the one thing that isn't there anymore is intellectual dedication. Our politicians simply shamble along the same path, like a zombie following in the footsteps of a highly literate cannibal.
