Some judge ruled that gene patents are invalid. Small yay from me; waiting to see if it sticks.
Apparently, the new health care law will shift the job market in my favor. The lunatics in charge don't realize that shifting risk around leads to different behavior, so they just force a lowering of the costs of health care insurance for women. The Market Ticker also informs me, since I would cost companies less in terms of health care benefits, I should let prospective employers know that on my resume. It'll be interesting to see how strong the feminist policies currently in place are when the effects of these shifts in policy kick in fully.
