Not Just Anti-Gun, But Anti-Male

It struck me, after being exposed yet again to a 'no guns, not even toy ones' and 'no knives' that this is not only silly policy with regard to any actual situation where one might need to defend oneself. These policies are also anti-male.

Now, just to get it out of the way, should an armed evil person actually enter the sort of premises that entertain these policies, we know what will happen- we've seen it on television. The murderer gets to shoot as many people as he wants, while police cower a half block away. Eventually the S.W.A.T. team manages to pull on all it's body armor, warm up the armored personnel carrier, and they putter on down to find the bodies, which include the killer because he's already offed himself without ever even seeing an official.

So, who is going to get harassed by this policy? Men and boys, especially useful men and boys. The sort of males who hear things like 'be prepared' and tend to agree with it. They are the ones carrying pocketknives, and obviously the boys are the ones with toy guns. Needless to say, men who carry real guns are also inconvenienced, though they usually already have a solid understanding of this silliness.

So, every male from an eight year old boy who doesn't want to be parted with his little pocketknife right up to some 90 year old. Frankly, the cops should arrest the person making the call, especially if the call comes from a place paid for by taxpayer's dollars. Every idiot bureaucrat who calls the cops for such inanities ought to be thrown in jail. It should also be a huge liability for any organization to insist people come unarmed and yet not have a plausible way to defend unarmed people while on the property.

But I digress. The point of this little post is to point out this policy will be used to harass males.
