A Brief History of Christopher Cantwell

Christopher Cantwell went down to Virginia to face felony charges stemming from Charlottesville.

I don't think these felony charges are legit. He's got the right to self-defense.

But why did this guy put himself in Charlottesville anyway? Is he just some evil white nationalist?

Well, it turns out, no- at least, not initially.

Cantwell had a podcast, Radical Agenda, and he also worked for some libertarian outfit or another, so he's been around advocating libertarian type things for a long time on the internet. I can't actually listen to him- the way he talks puts me into a bad mood, but I've tried to every once in a while.

Enough to know he is a part of the Free State Project, which is an attempt to get a bunch of libertarians to move to New Hampshire and to then change the state.

Cantwell was location independent enough to get there early, along with a bunch of other who ranged along an anarchist/libertarian/activist sort of gamut.

He quickly realized there was a problem- his activist friends tended to upset the locals. Activists would go smoke pot in front of the police station. I think there was a nude protest once. Basically, stuff activists like is not stuff parents who vote like.

So, Cantwell saw a reduced likelihood of the project actually working. Perhaps you get the more normal libertarians among the 20,000- but what happens if the body politic becomes hardened to it before hand due to stupid actions from the overenthusiastic and belligerent?

And then there's the stuff he mentions in the Vice interview- the slew of various shootings that were supposed to be callously murdered blacks, but usually turns out to be legit self-defense when you look at the autopsy reports. And there are the statistics on violence, IQ, etc...

It adds up to the vote not working. I think that's why Cantwell is sitting in a jail right now. He can do math. He can't get any of the things he wants done with America as it is currently constituted, which is a damn shame, because what he wanted is mostly right there in the Constitution and the Bill of Rights.

Government in the U.S. was simply never meant to expand in the size and scope that it did.

So Cantwell hopes to change the math. And despite people using the Vice documentary to malign him, it also shows that, in terms of actions, he was very reserved in what he did, versus what he could have done. I don't suppose they've got a warrant out for every jackass who maced him?

Now people are making fun of him for tearing up while talking about the felony charges, but they are forgetting that this has as much potential to make him stronger.

But anyone looking for solutions might want to take Cantwell's radicalization under advisement. If someone were actually listening, and they could get us our freedoms back now, this could dissipate. This is why I keep talking about freedom of association and private property- the fact that they have been abrogated in this country came clear to me when I was looking to build a Christian city. It can't be done in America today. We are not free, thus we will continue to see radicalization, as long as these injustices continue.
