Emergent Kingdom?

As I do more and more research, I am amazed at how many covenant communities are out there. I can see plenty of people around the world trying to build the Kingdom. I see technologies that can radically alter how we live, allowing us to grow closer. I see scientific studies that may someday form the basis for a rational approach to government.

The funny thing is, everyone involved in any of these things has his or her own agenda. Among believers, one can often find a nostalgia for socialism, for instance. It was such a passionate, convincing sin; one offering the illusion of unity, that many simply can't see the difference between it an the real thing. And of course, there are the competing agendas of states, businesses, etc...

So out of all this, Our Father calls the Kingdom forth. Order out of a chaos. Or chaos out of one order in order to order anew. That's a weird sentence, but I believe it to be correct. The Kingdom is too dynamic for us to manage to understand more than our own part. Indeed, our own part is struggle enough. I still wonder about my purpose.
