It's still on my mind. We are tempted. We want to be relevant. Part of the meta-context of arguing a point, publishing a novel, building a kingdom, is that we think it is meaningful. And we want everybody else to agree with us. We don't necessarily need people to think we are right; we do demand, often unconsciously, that we be relevant. Many would prefer to be perceived as evil than not be perceived at all.
