I remember how emotional Buena Vista Social Club was to me. I was in New Orleans, and the only people who showed up for the movie were folks who had a real connection to Cuba. Everybody was crying at some point.
This hit me just as hard in a much shorter amount of time.
These are people willing to sign their own death warrant. Just to say they are, and should be, free.
I hate not being able to do something. May 1st. Where's your glorious revolution now? More importantly, where are my cousins?
