The Patriarchy v.s. the State

In the Patriarchy, morality was absolute but authority was relative. Literally. Your authorities were your relatives.

In the State, morality is relative, but authority is absolute.

I realized this while reading about how some heavily armed right-wingers lost the Altalena. Turns out they held this wacky idea that they shouldn't make war on their brothers. The kibbutzim had other ideas.

The Irgun had the family mentality, just like the Jews in Gaza. They were willing to scream into soldiers faces, but they would not kill their brothers.
Sadly, the left knows no brother. They only know the group for they have killed the relationships of father, mother, sister, and brother in favor of the new society.

Hopefully, you can see what the differences are, for the new society has nothing to do with the new creation. It would be downright schizophrenic to hold both. You cannot serve to masters.

As the Israelis continue to prove to us.
