Coincidental Education

Well, just after I flippantly explain that environmental issues can be dealt with through the court system, I listened to Bruce Yandle and Russ Roberts talk about environmental issues in terms of a tragedy of the commons. It turns out private property rights and old fashion common law work pretty well.

Meanwhile, Patrick Crozier interviewed Professor Bruce L. Benson about private law enforcement. This should be of great interest to anyone interested in the future of covenant communities. I do know I'm approaching the subject from a different perspective, but seriously, this is worth a listen.

The two podcasts reinforce each other to a certain extent, for they touch on similar issues, even though they are from very different places.
