Justification by Cause

I noticed, when I lived in New Orleans the most adamantly pro-diversity crowd somehow miraculously avoided the overwhelmingly black population, unless you counted interactions with the service industry. I've since had my suspicions verified, whether it's Seattle or New York, the most PC crowd is the most lily-white, and the least likely to be living in a mixed neighborhood. Which only makes my case: all this stuff is a modern psuedo-morality designed to help the post-christian feel good. If you say the right things, recycle, etc... you can absolve yourself and pay no attention to your guilt about the things you do that are actually sinful.

This is justification by cause, if you will. Interestingly, Jesus faced a similar sentiment among the Jews. The Romans were so evil and all, just look at how they mixed the blood of that Galilean with the sacrifices. Surely, if they do such evil things, we are then justified. But no, Jesus said they must look to their own sin and repent.
