Abraham Piper calls for pastors to blog. There is another category of person I would add: professors. I'm sure there are a lot of nutty pastors and professors, but I think the only answer to bad information is to swamp it with good information.
Tenured professors are a particularly good target because they could blog without fear of losing their job.
In some ways, they need to in a world where you can google anything. If their words aren't out there, people will make choices based solely on what their critics say.
