Raphael In America

I once came to this Earth to guide a young man,
After God heard the prayers of two.
They were in despair and asked to die,
But God is a God of the living,
So He determined that they should have more life,
And that He would remove the shame that had them longing for death.
And so He sent me.
But now, Tobit lives in Vegas and Sarah in New York.
Tobit enjoys his blindness,
For it contributes to the illusions that divert him.
Sarah thinks Asmodeus is her protector,
And finds the appearance and disappearance of new men in her life thrilling.
Poor Tobiah is restless in the valley of the Mississipi,
Vaguely aware of a birthright lost,
Meaning undiscovered,
And a family unrealized.

Where shall I guide the boy now?
