Uncertainty

There are a great many things about which I am certain, and one of them is that there is a lot of uncertainty in this world. Meanwhile, most men desire certainty and become concerned if you qualify any of your comments with remarks that convey some degree of uncertainty. But in many of the areas of interest I have, I find again and agian that the appropriate way to deal with this is not to seek certainty, but to figure out a way of managing uncertainty.
