Pulling The Cholesterol Out Of The Hat

At Hyperlipid, Peterput up some slides on the history of the great cholesterol myth:

How it was originally Bad, then it was subdivided in to Good and Bad. Then the Good became good Good and bad Good. And the bad became bad Bad (small dense LDL) and good Bad (large fluffy LDL). Of course not forgetting IDL which can be good or bad depending on when it occurs! And triglycerides were Bad (big trigs) unless, of course, they were Good (small trigs).

And then there's a rabbit.
And the general obviousness of how, especially in this case, a rabbit can't possibly be the right animal to test this in.

Anyway, go read, so you'll have one less myth to hurt yourself with.
