101

So, Chrysler is in bankrupcty. How much money was spent on making this not happen? Ah, well it's happened, and even Obama's magic negotiation skills failed to keep it from happening. Most of the companies that the government is currently meddling in need to fall, and our health as a nation is impaired until they do so. I heard nothing on the economy that was any good last night: No discussion of the dollar, no recognition that the housing boom was politically induced, no understanding of risk.

Foreign policy looks, as if it were possible, even more Wilsonian, though it's as if we've already won 'The War To End All War' and we are now onto 'Getting Conned By Foreign Dignitaries.' I expect some parallel to the 14 points to come out and day now. Perhaps Raul Castro, Evo Morales, and Hugo Chavez can invite Obama to join a the new international communist organization called the League Of Geographical Entities Formerly Known As Nations. The community organizers at ACORN would love it.

Everywhere, else, from healthcare to transportation, our President seems to be unveiling really expensive plans that don't appear to address anyone's problems.
The policies were old and demonstrably flawed long before Obama was even born. It's just plain sad to see them here today. (A high-speed train system? Really? Talk about not doing your homework- unless you just love them, and know they aren't economically viable- shame on you in either case.)

So, we are reduced down to the President telling us to do what our parents told us to do as children. Wash your hands. Thanks. This should give us a clue as to what powers the President actually has.
