The music won't make the dance, no matter how beautiful the song. The two dancers must work together no matter what's playing. Obama just played a song, now he's expecting two people to dance. Meanwhile, one people have some semblance of self-governance- flawed by socialism though it is- and the other, well, when they aren't killing each other, they are trying to kill their dance partner.
It's criminal to keep up the pretense. More people, especially Palestinians, live in extremely bad situations now precisely because the United States has mistakenly remained committed to this mythology for decades. There's no one in Palestine to dance with, and trying to create someone got us PLO, Fatah, and now Hamas- all murderers, both of Jews and of those they pretend to represent.
