I mentioned before I had concerns about the 'culture' the secret service seemed to be cultivating, if this Washington Post article was anything to go by. Recent gatecrashers at the White House seem to suggest my concerns could have merit.
I am actually quite prepared to assume this is not, in fact, a Secret Service problem, but instead an obviously inept administration compromising its own security, but the Secret Service has just put three on leave pending some sort of investigation. Any chance the investigation will find the three able to extricate themselves and the president from wildly improbable scenarios, but be inexplicably unable to turn uninvited guests away at the door?
