On the whole, I found myself quite concerned by this account of how secret service agents are trained. By increasing the number and type of scenario-based training they are likely becoming more self-confident, but less effective. It may be somewhat fun playing out scenes found in movies, but most threats are far more mundane.
I find the psychological tone the author expressed, if it corresponds very much to reality, very troubling as well. Pride causes trouble, and we don't need this crew having that sort of trouble.
