America's Catholic Bishops seemed sanguine, agreeable, and all for Catholic business men and women being forced to provide the very same.
This is not a position of strength, not ground upon which you can fight.
We all must be free, or no one is.
Similarly, we are the Church, or no one is. You can't draw an imaginary line around a church, a hospital, or a charity organization and insist on special privileges. You are compromised if you do this. Every Christian should have the exact same freedoms the bishops want for themselves.
