Downtown

I walked around downtown today, with an eye toward all the buildings and building space for sale. I don't really know what for; my restaurant ideas could work downtown, but I'd rather put them further south, where there is better parking. Anyway, quite a few of the old buildings have real charm. It would be fun just to renovate one.

One of the things downtown needs is a grocery store. They are trying to encourage the young, single, upper income set to come live there. So a nice, possibly upscale place to get a few groceries, maybe a good bottle of wine, would help encourage more people to live there.

There's actually quite a lot of space around. I could redo an entire city block. I'd take my inspiration from Italy.
