The Cookie Experiment

Chadzilla has the results of an experiment involving different ways to introduce baking soda into cookie dough.

Mixing the baking soda with hot tap water (1/2 to 1tsp ratio) before adding it to the dough appears to be the winner. Check out the link above for the pictorial proof.

It's a pretty striking result for such a little ingredient.
