Matt Brandenburgh, who looks awfully young, knows all about inflation. This was one of my aha moments, when I realized that someone (think female and attractive) didn't understand that inflation was caused by the government. Her economics class had taught her something competely different. The exchange taught me something- it was an emotional something, a feeling of isolation. The truth will set you free, but it can also make you feel lonely.
Matt noticed something else:
This is an individual case of a much broader problem within our political culture: the range of acceptable opinion in our country has shrunken to an almost impossibly narrow range. Thus, many opinions and criticisms from all sides of the political debate are automatically dismissed because they fall outside this range.
Yep, that's where I live. Off the range. But it sounds like I'll have new neighbors soon, thanks to Ron Paul's efforts.
