I've suffered a few setbacks, which have me thinking a lot about faith- wanting more of it, understanding what it is, why what I see on the page in the bible seems so different from what I see here...
Is faith confused with imagination? Shall I imagine it to be so? What of things I cannot imagine? Many had faith that a Messiah would come, but I don't think anyone imagined it; nor do I think we've much of an inkling as to what the second coming would be like.
For more mundane things, we can imagine answers to our prayers, but it's probably just a temptation to think on these things- the more different reality is from our imaginings, the more likely we'll be agitated.
